What is Flushing and Passivation?

Passivation is the removal of exogenous iron or iron compounds from the surface of stainless steel by means of a chemical dissolution most typically by a treatment with an acid solution that will remove the surface contamination but will not significantly affect the stainless steel itself.

TEC offer a full range of bespoke premium made hose assemblies designed for all degreasing, flushing and passivation services.
Hoses are available from size 13mm to 250mm and up to 60mt lengths. All fittings are manufactured using 316 Stainless steel.
Common fittings include Flange (DN, ANSI) Tri-Clamp, Camlock etc.
All hose assemblies are hydrostatically pressure tested and certified prior to delivery.

Flushing & Passivation

We manufacture, test and certify hose assemblies used in dynamic flushing applications, degreasing and all chemical cleaning applications.

TEC flushing hoses are used in the removal of grease, swarf and debris typically found in new pipe work, and designed to convey alkaline degreasing solutions to remove the presence of grease from pipe work.

All hoses are issued with unique ID and pressure Test certificate. Customers can remotely access individual hose test certs anywhere using any device from our cloud hosted hose test and audit software.
